Yan receives awards in Physical Organic Chemistry

Yan was awarded the Chinese Chemical Society New Investigator Award in Physical Organic Chemistry (2025) at the 16th National Conference on Physical Organic Chemistry in Zhengzhou.

The award recognizes his "grounding in the fundamental principles of physical organic chemistry, through which he conceptualized and systematically developed a reversible sampling strategy for inert C–H bond activation, providing new mechanistic tools for directing group‑free, precise functionalization of inert C–H bonds."
